 At each of our locations, Empire Auctions has full-time professionals who are fully qualified, accredited personal property appraisers, through The Certified Appraisers Guild of America.  The CAGA is a professional accreditation organization providing certification of personal property appraisers. With members in all 50 U.S. states and 6 Canadian provinces, the CAGA trains more personal property appraisers than any other organization in North America, and is known for its high ethical standards.  The CAGA was originally established as a complementing educational and accreditation resource to the Missouri Auction School. Founded in 1905, the Missouri Auction School has provided industry related training since its inception for auctioneers in general appraisal principles and methodology and is the oldest running auction school in America.

INSURANCE VALUATIONS  The valuation  at Current Replacement Value of particular assets for continuation within a collection, whose value warrants insurance protection against loss or damage.  Current Replacement Value is defined as the price which would be necessary to replace the specified asset with a replacement article of the same standards of construction, materials, quality, condition, origin and age. Replacement of the asset would be deemed necessary either through outright loss of the object or through damage beyond the scope of reasonable professional restoration efforts.  Insurance valuations are also a very helpful tool when working with moving and storage companies to ensure adequate protection of your items when in the care of others.

FAMILY  LAW  In situations requiring the valuation of household assets to ensure an equitable division of matrimonial assets, we work with legal firms to ensure expedient results for their clients, under conditions of the strictest confidence.
