Elaine Winrow bought a 67-piece porcelain dinner set at an auction Sunday, not knowing that it had been owned by Earl Jones and his wife, Maxine.

So when reporters informed her that the disgraced financial adviser had eaten off of the cream-coloured plates, she couldn’t help but poke fun at the notorious con man, who has left so many seniors penniless.
